It's quite common to see Sentry reports for quite old versions.
Eg, I recently got distracted by https://mozilla.sentry.io/issues/4263168722/?project=6295546&query=is%3Aunresolved&referrer=issue-stream&statsPeriod=14d&stream_index=11 and failed to notice it was a report for a nightly which was over 12 months old.
Having very old versions report can skew the actual state of the product.
I believe a case can be made to not submit sentry reports which are older than some threshold. This threshold can maybe be different for each channel - eg, Nightlies older than 3 months might be reasonable, whereas the release channel might be a year or 2.

In Sentry, we can mark a report as resolved in another release which I believe stops reporting it or at least showing it to us any more. Feel free to do that for those exceptions that you are familiar with.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Fenix::Crash Reporting' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
