User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0
Steps to reproduce:
Opened Thunderbird after updating to 115.4.1
Actual results:
I use a local inbox folder to collect all the emails from my various email accounts into one easy to use inbox and after the recent update to 115.4.1, that local folder no longer scrolls to the bottom when Thunderbird starts. I have my emails sorted so the newer ones show up on the bottom. It works fine in each individual inbox, but it's broken on launch in the local inbox and always starts at the top with the oldest emails. This behavior is new after the update, it didn't used to do this.
Expected results:
Local inbox should have been scrolled to the bottom to show the most recent emails, like it used to.

Please try setting the preference mailnews.scroll_to_new_message
to false
in the Config Editor. Does this change anything?

Which version was installed before this update, 102 or 115.3? Coming from 102, this is a known regression that should be fixed soon in 115 ESR.
