The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

So the playback continues but with 1/2 of window size, right? Please attach your about:support page.
Thanks.

Open about:support web page from URL bar. It's a special page with Firefox config.

Which distro is that? You may try to run Firefox under Wayland:

Thanks.

It's ubuntu 22.04, and sure, I will try:
MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 ./firefox -ProfileManager -no-remote

Hi Martin,
The system we are using the default is already running under wayland,
May I know is there any different to have a parameter like "MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1" under wayland environment?

about:support page should say "wayland" and not "xwayland". xwayland is X11 emulation on top of Wayland. Wayland will become default in Firefox 121.0.

Hi Martin,
I confirmed that run with wayland mode can fix this issue,
so may I ask that is that mean currently it still needs to use parameter on firefox to divert wayland and X11?

Hi Martin,
Ubuntu is using snap version of firefox,
121.0 is currently in candidate channel, will land into stable soon,
and since this is fix in 121.0, so let's close this issue, thanks for your support :)
