[Affected Platforms]:

• MacOS 13.6
• Windows 11 x64
• Windows 10 x64

[Prerequisites]:

• Have the “user.js” file and the “ExperimentStore” downloaded on your computer.
• Have the "browser.ping-centre.log" pref set to true in “about:config”.
• Have the Browser Console opened.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Create a new Firefox profile according to the prerequisites.
2. Navigate to the profile folder and paste the ExperimentStore files from prerequisites.
3. Restart the browser.
4. Navigate to the profile folder and paste the user.js files from the prerequisites.
5. Open a website page (eg: Wikipedia).
6. Restart the browser and open a new tab having the “Show Bookmarks?” callout message displayed.
7. Switch to the Wikipedia page.
8. Focus on the Browser Console.

[Expected results]:

• A “Dismiss” telemetry ping is displayed on the Browser Console.

[Actual results]:

• The “Dismiss” telemetry ping is not displayed on the Browser Console.

This issue is still reproducible on Firefox Release 119.0 (BUILD: 20231019122658) on MacOS 13.6, Windows 10 x64 and Windows 11 x64.
