- Firefox Release, 119.0, BUILD ID: 20231019122658
[Affected Platforms]:
- MacOS 13.6
- Windows 11 x64
- Windows 10 x64
[Prerequisites]:
- Have the “user.js” file and the “ExperimentStore” downloaded on your computer.
- Have the "browser.ping-centre.log" pref set to true in “about:config”.
- Have the Browser Console opened.
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Create a new Firefox profile according to the prerequisites.
- Navigate to the profile folder and paste the ExperimentStore files from prerequisites.
- Restart the browser.
- Navigate to the profile folder and paste the user.js files from the prerequisites.
- Open a website page (eg: Wikipedia).
- Restart the browser and open a new tab having the “Show Bookmarks?” callout message displayed.
- Switch to the Wikipedia page.
- Focus on the Browser Console.
[Expected results]:
- A “Dismiss” telemetry ping is displayed on the Browser Console.
[Actual results]:
- The “Dismiss” telemetry ping is not displayed on the Browser Console.

- Attached a screenshot of the issue.

This was due to a misconfiguration of the dismiss action. This has been addressed and can be reevaluated. Thank you!

This issue is still reproducible on Firefox Release 119.0 (BUILD: 20231019122658) on MacOS 13.6, Windows 10 x64 and Windows 11 x64.
