User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/119.0
Steps to reproduce:
Nothing specific. Just happens at any moment.
Actual results:
Since about a month ago. Not when I do anything specific. Just at any time. I experience this about once everyday. I have to force quit and restart. I don't know if it is a problem of compatibility with the resent windows updates. I am using windows 11.
Expected results:
Not that.

I tried to reproduce this issue on Firefox 119.0 (2023-10-19) using Win 10, but with no success. Are there any additional steps (settings) or something that I'm missing? Could you maybe add some more infos that could help me reproduce this? (eg: how many tabs you've opened, what was the last thing you've done before the app freezes)
Thank you!

Hi Dana, thank you for your help.
I tried reinstalling Firefox but it didn't work. It just froze again a moment ago. I have only 15 tabs open. The last thing that I am doing when it happens varies. I suspect it may have something to do with this pages: walmart, amazon or excel on the web.
It's not clear what triggers it. I 'm sorry I can't give you more information or be more helpful.
If I notice anything else I will let you know.
Saludos.
Daniel

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Networking' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
Thank you for your report.
When you find that Firefox is hanging, could you generate a core dump for us?
- Start Windows Task Manager.
- Navigate to Processes or Details.
- Find the Firefox process. Right click the hanging one (it might show CPU at 100%), or simply the main one - firefox.exe without -contentproc after it.
- Choose
Create dump file - Put the dump file on google drive, onedrive, or some other storage service and email the link to necko@mozilla.com
Thanks!
