Steps to reproduce:
I'm currently using Xiaomi redmi note 11 pro. Whenever I open a video in portrait mode it works completely fine (tried in dailymotion, YouTube, etc) but whenever I click on the screen rotation arrows on the video player, the app crashes on its own
Actual results:
After clicking on the rotation arrows sometimes the app crashes and sometimes the screen goes black completely and freez, sometimes the site shows in half screen while the rest of the screen is black. The range of responses varies everytime and few times the landscape mode did work but majority of the time it just crashes.
Expected results:
The video should have played in full screen mode. I've just updated the app( to version 119) before writing this and despite Firefox claming that full screen bug has been fixed it just keep happening. Firefox is one of the best browser I've used so far on Android and this is the only issue I'm facing, kindly resolve it. Thanks

This does not affect the crash reporter, moving it to the general component for triage though I suppose it might be an issue within gecko itself rather than the Fenix front-end.

Hi and thanks for reporting!
I was not able to reproduce this issue on the latest Nightly 121.0a1, Beta 120.0b9 and RC 120.0 builds, using Xiaomi 12T (Android 12) and Xiaomi Realme C35 (Android 12).
Is this issue reproducible on the latest Nightly 121.0a1 (2023-11-15) build?
Could you please provide a video with the issue?
Thank you!

Thank you for the video.
I did not manage to reproduce the issue on the latest Nightly 121.0a1, Beta 120.0b9 and RC 120.0 builds, using Xiaomi 12T (Android 12) and Xiaomi Realme C35 (Android 12).
It might be a device specific issue.
Please edit the title of this bug and make it more specific.
The reporter did his best when he created this issue, which comes up when we dedicate our volunteer time to help other Firefox users and type full screen
into the Bugzilla search bar in order to be able to point them to the right unsolved bug.
Margareta doesn't seem to be active on Bugzilla anymore. I picked you because you're a very active developer who still works on Firefox and has participated in this discussion, and seem to be fluent in English.

I think this should have been fixed in bug 1886083

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Fenix::Media' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
