Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to https://www.bbc.com/ and log in
  2. Click Save the Save Password doorhanger
  3. Observe the doorhanger

Expected result

  • The username/email filled in by user in the Email or username field on the bbc.com auth page is captured in the Save Password doorhanger.

Actual result

  • The username/email filled in by user is not captured and the field Username is empty in the Save Password doorhanger.

Regression range

  • We'll search for the corresponding regression range.

Additional notes

  • The issue can not be reproduced in Google Chrome.

Not a recent regression because I've managed to reproduce this issue in Firefox 91.0esr.
