Steps to reproduce:

1). Open URL bar to Search something.
2). Start search something. (I search Mozilla).
3). When i start typing 'moz' gboard shows search suggest 'mozilla'.
4). When i tap on gboard suggestion it doesn't complete the auto suggestion in URL bar.
5). Have to tap twice on gboard suggestion to fill the actual word.

Actual results:

Have to click twice on Gboard suggestion list to fill the URL bar. (Video attached).

Expected results:

URL bar auto complete the suggestion from Gboard on single tap.

Thank you for the report!

I was not able to reproduce this issue on the latest Firefox for Android 123.0 build, with the following devices:

• Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 9),
• Samsung Galaxy S24 (Android 14), nor on
• Google Pixel 6 (Android 14).

Could you please retest on the latest version? And also, provide us the device you've encountered this issue on?

No. Not solved in latest 123 build. My device is Micromax In1b (android 11). And also Motorola Moto G72 (android 13) with gboard.

Hello, I was able to reproduce this issue on Release 121.0, as well as on the latest Nighty, Beta and Release versions with Motorola Moto G30 (Android 12).
