Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 If Mozilla is opened to the Mail window, 'Compose' is selected and the 'Insert' drop-down menu is opened (or the corresponding button in the tool-bar is clicked), all items except 'Smileys' are dimmed. If one types something (even only one letter) in the message pane, and even if it is immediately deleted again, then the menu items are available and an image, etc., can be inserted. Once this has been done in one message (regardless of whether it is sent or not), one can immediately insert an image, etc., into another new message without first typing some text. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Mozilla from scratch. 2.Open Mail & Groups. 3.Open 'Compose'. 4.Either enter an address and subject and then click in the message pane, or go straight to the message pane. 5.View the drop-down 'Insert' menu or click the Insert tool-bar button. 6.Note that all items other than 'Smileys' are dimmed. 7.Type a letter (and, if desired, delete it again) and try 'Insert' again. 8.Open 'Compose' anew and go through 4. and 5. again. Actual Results: At 5., all items except 'Smileys' are dimmed. Insertion of the others is not possible. At 7., all items are now accessible and insertion is possible. At 8., insertion is now possible right away (without having to type anything first). Expected Results: At 5., the menu items should be available and insertion of images, etc., should be possible without having to type anything first. Mac G3 (old beige), OS 9.2.2. Modern theme.
Mac classic builds are "dead" You could try a 1.3.1 OS classic build from here : http://wamcom.org/
