Details

`Copy Link Without Site Tracking" doesn't work for Disqus links. To repro:

  1. Open https://www.nationalzero.com .
  2. Open any story.
  3. Scroll down to the comments section.
  4. Look for a link in a comment and hover over it. Verify that FF's status bar displays a URL beginning https://disq.us.
  5. Right-click the link and select "Copy Link Without Site Tracking".
  6. Paste the link into notepad and notice that FF did not remove the Disqus tracking URL.

The Copy without tracking doesn't handle bounce URLs. Currently, we only strip parameters from the link itself. Firefox has URL tracking protection, and we are working on bounce tracking protection to handle the bounce URLs in a general way. So, I will close it for now.
