Currently when a user is searching their history, they are able to search the name/title and URL of websites in their history but the actual content (the text) of the webpages cannot be searched. Being able to search the text content of ones history would be very helpful and useful, and it is a feature request I've seen mentioned many times over the years. The old Presto based Opera had this feature and it was wonderful, and it would be an even better experience today with SSD's being so common. Storing all that text wasn't an issue at all, text doesn't take up much space.
I made a mock of what this feature would look like, basically just like web search engine results (apologies that it's a mock using Chrome instead of Firefox, I had already made this mock for a Chrome feature request and they don't seem eager to implement this feature for obvious reasons)
This could also be extended do Bookmarks.
Oops sorry I forgot to add, this feature wouldn't be exclusive to the History library window, you should also be able to do it from the URL bar, especially when you select the History search shortcut/filter.

We are investigating possibilities here, by using AI to generate page summaries and categorization. Though that's still a bit far away.
This is a large project, not adapt to be tracked in a single bug like this, as it needs a lot of design and architecture decisions, plus planning. Thus I'm resolving the bug as incomplete, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.
