We want to change the logo on the Mozilla-Ocho GitHub repository from the current "infinity symbol" to the standard square Mozilla "m" logo. This is because we now have a public repo that is getting a lot of traction (llamafile) and the current logo isn't optimal for reinforcing at a glance that these are Mozilla projects.

Imo Udom (VP of Ocho) has requested this change and I am filing on his behalf!

So, two things.

  1. Need to hear this from one of the deciders of the org ... Imo is one, but you've cc'd in Mike Heavers, who's the other. (if Stephen should be able to speak authoritatively for this org, I'll take that as well) ... Mike if you could give me a thumbs up... Particularly since you supplied the original logo in bug 1795988

  2. do you have a link or the file itself for the logo you want?

:cknowles - confirmed - we want to switch to the Mozilla logo as we have not yet firmed up an identity for Mozilla Ocho. The mozilla M logo should suffice for the square github lockup

excellent - thanks. I've confirmed that that link matches the "best practices" from GitHub for org logos. And I've made the change.

It may take a bit of time to replicate across the site and be everywhere.

Let me know if there are any questions or concerns.
