some emails in inbox are not displayed but the search shows there are there

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/119.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
This is thunderbird version 115.5.0 (32-bit) even though my system is 64-bit (not sure why it installed a 32-bit version)
- emails came in and I was able to read them and left them in the inbox to answer later
- received few more emails and two of the old emails disappeared
- when I search for them they show they are in the Inbox and I can read them, but the inbox does not show them.
- when I copy the email to another inbox, they show but after reading disappear again
Actual results:
emails disappeared from inbox folder
Expected results:
the emails should be visible since the search finds them there

Are you seeing this also with version 115.9.0 or newer?
