Steps to reproduce:

This is thunderbird version 115.5.0 (32-bit) even though my system is 64-bit (not sure why it installed a 32-bit version)

  • emails came in and I was able to read them and left them in the inbox to answer later
  • received few more emails and two of the old emails disappeared
  • when I search for them they show they are in the Inbox and I can read them, but the inbox does not show them.
  • when I copy the email to another inbox, they show but after reading disappear again

Actual results:

emails disappeared from inbox folder

Expected results:

the emails should be visible since the search finds them there

Are you seeing this also with version 115.9.0 or newer?
