Steps to reproduce:

Open Menu, Click Downloads, Click the File.

Actual results:

Android asks how to open (Crome orHTML View) Firefox not shown.

Expected results:

Firefox should shown up.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I can reproduce this issue. Firefox for Android browsers are not listed as suitable apps to open the .html file.
Tested with:

  • Samsung Galaxy A53 5G (Android 14)
  • Google Pixel 8 Pro (Android 14)
  • Poco F5 Pro (Android 13)

Upon closer inspection, I believe this is a duplicate of 1743196, and this seems to be the intended behavior at this moment.
