The articles will sometimes open various pop-ups that will obfuscate the URL view, so the test does a retry, where it is supposed to restart the app and start from the home screen. But this doesn't seem to work all the time, the app will sometimes restart from the browser view. So as a result, the menu button is not recognized, as it has a different matcher in this view. We can add a preference inside the RetryTestRule, to always open the homescreen on start.

In the latest case, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1868291#c4, the app restart and retry works as expected, but the URL is still not matched properly.
The logs show the correct URL has loaded: GeckoView:PageStart uri=https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/24034578/vegan-twin-study-stanford-you-are-what-you-eat-netflix?utm_source=pocket-newtab-android. But I can't figure out why it didn't match the URL, only possible explanation is that an ad URL was loaded and changed (01-13 16:56:03.688: D/GeckoViewProgress(10677): SecurityTracker onLocationChange: location=https://z.moatads.com/hd09824092/iframe.html#header=1, flags=0).
I'll create a fix to always restart the app on home and hope to get more relevant logs for the second case if it happens again.
