Hi folks, I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this request so apologies ahead of time if this is spam.

Mozilla VPN is gearing up to build a privileged web extension and my understanding (docs) is that the repository for the extension should live in the mozilla-extensions org to which I do not have access.
Please either add me to the mozilla-extensions org (GH handle lesleyjanenorton) so that I can create this or let me know what information I should provide so that an admin can do it.

So, public repos can be created by any member of an org.

Is this going to be a public repository? If it's a private repo, we have another template here for that type of request - though that also needs you to be a member of the org in question.

So - I think I'm going to treat this as an "I would like to be a member of the mozilla-extensions org" ... and I would wager that you don't have a team in that org that you'd like to be added to - so I'm going to NI some of the admins for the org so they can ask any questions, or provide guidance, or approved your membership.

Andreas, Heitor - you're in the "web extensions admins" team - for deciders of the org - so any guidance you can give as to procedure here - can I add Lesley as a member of this org, are there any team(s) to add them to - etc. would be appreciated. Alternatively, if there's someone else to ask, I'd appreciate that guidance as well.

Alright - renaming the bug to reference it being a membership request.

And Lesley can create teams once she's a member.

Lesley - I've sent the GitHub invite.

If you can't find that GitHub invite, go to the following link and next to the desired organization name, there should be an option to accept an invite. https://github.com/settings/organizations

Note that invites expire after a week, and so if you need things re-sent please update this bug.

And if there's any problems or concerns, please let me know.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the help here! For some reason I am not seeing the option to accept when following that link and I don't think there is anything in my inbox yet so I will keep checking and follow up async if need be. Thanks again y'all!
