Browser still works fine as of today. I setup mail account using POP3 and was
working great without a problem until a week later afer using it.
Now, if I go to Window, Mail and Newsgroups, the browser and Mail/Newsgroups
will stay in hourglass. The only way to get out of the loop is ControlAltDelete,
End Task.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on Mozilla icon
2.Click on Window at the toolbar
3. Select Mail and Newsgroups
Actual Results:
The application will remain in hourglass for both mail/newsgroups and browser.
Expected Results:
I am not sure of an answer yet.
OS is Windows XP Pro (modified XP theme), all latest downloads installed except SP1.
Other POP3 mail program is Outlook Express 6 at the time of the problem but was
not running.
reporter,
May I suggest downloading a more recent mozilla build.
I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030102
on XP and not experiencing any problems with pop mail when
I go to windw|mail&newsgroups.
WFM with Moz 1.7.3 on WinXP. Marking fixed.
