(Reporter: heraldo99, Unassigned)
Details
Steps to reproduce
- Open 3 tabs and load for example an online shop website with item position in physical store listed
- Go to the store, where network connection is bad, and open any of the tabs above to read the position of the item you want to buy
Expected behavior
Firefox should never try reloading or unloading a page if the network connection is bad and there has been no user interaction to want a reload.
If unload is desirable for some reason, then there should be a user facing option to enable / disable it.
Actual behavior
Firefox seemingly reloads pages in poor network conditions after a short while of pages being loaded in tabs on Android, making the browser unusable in scenarios where you want to have access to information on an already loaded page in poor network conditions on a mobile phone.
Device information
- Firefox version: 120.1.1
- Android device model: SM-G911B
- Android OS version: 14
Any additional information?
