User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:120.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/120.0
Steps to reproduce:
Example steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://store.steampowered.com/
- Log in to your Steam account
- After logging in, on the Steam home page scroll down and under the “Your Discovery Queue” heading click on the “Click here to begin exploring your queue” button
- Quickly, while you can see the game page still loading, click on the yellow “Next in Queue” button.
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4v2Ykx5EZo
Actual results:
Now, if you right-click on the back button, the entry for the previously visited page will be missing (although if you check your browser history, that page will be there; it's only missing from the Back button menu).
Note 1: This happens when you go to the next game page, when the current one still haven't finished fully loading. If you wait for the page to load, then go to the next game in your queue, then that page will show up in the Back button's menu.
Note 2: Sorry, for requiring you to use a Steam account, I'm not sure how to reproduce this bug without Steam website.
Note 3: I tested this on the newest build of Firefox Nightly too and this is still reproducible. Also was testing it on Chrome, and the back button there works fine.
Expected results:
The entry for the previously visited page should show up on the Back button's menu. Also, if you click on the Back button, it should take you to that page, not some other page you visited 4 pages ago.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::DOM: Navigation' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I can reproduce this on Linux nightly as well. This feels like a Session History thing. :peterv, :smaug, any guesses?
