User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20021226 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20021226 In this build, if the name of a bookmark or folder is typed with a letter that carries an Umlaut or accent, that letter is converted into gibberish. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. In 'Manage bookmarks', enter a new bookmark or folder whose name contains a letter with an Umlaut or accent or a dash (by typing Option-hyphen) by typing it. 2. Close 'Manage bookmarks', close Mozilla. 3. Open Mozilla again. Examine bookmarks. Actual Results: The letter carrying the accent, etc., is converted inmto 2 or more characters. But this seems to happen inconsistently, and is connected with another bug I am about to file, namely that corrections and deletions are not 'remebered' and original versions re-appear later on, sometimes only after several closings-down and reopenings. Expected Results: The names should remain as typed. Mac G3, OS 9.2.2. Modern theme.
