Steps to reproduce:

Closed browser with the setting clear cache on exit. Websites are still logged in on relaunch. Restarted phone with the same result. Manually cleared cache using the clear cache button. Cache clears as expected.

Actual results:

Cache does not clear exposing the user's data.

Expected results:

Cache should have cleared as in previous versions.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Fenix::General' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hey jkopp, can you share the steps you used to close the browser?

This issue is not reproducible on the latest Nightly 123.0a1, with Xiaomi 12T (Android 12), having "Delete browsing data on quit" set to ON and Quit the app from the three dot menu.

Do you still reproduce the issue? On what device? also, how do you quit the app?
