Steps to reproduce:
Update my stable debian box using apt update and apt upgrade.
Firefox get upgraded from 115.5.0esr-1deb12u1 to 115.6.0esr-1deb12u1
Then launch firefox
Actual results:
It started but freezes as soon as the tabs are displayed. The active tab stays grey.
If started from console, I get the message : Exiting due to channel error.
Expected results:
start normally.
I tried with the same unsuccessfull result :
MOZILLA_DISABLE_PLUGINS=1 firefox-esr
firefox-esr -safe-mode
I am able to start it with a new profile.
The first number is wrowg (actually it is the number of this bug). I dont know how to erase it.
Downgrading to 115.5 does not solve the problem. It looks like the profile has been broken during the update process.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Application Update' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
