With gfx.font_rendering.colr_v1.enabled = true this is the regression range : Suspect is bug 1791686

This bug seems to be an edge case/stress test and should be classified as low priority and/or low impact.

I think we can regard this as a dupe of bug 1870986; it's similar poor canvas2d (especially d2d-canvas) performance.

(Bug 1872545 addressed the COLR-font-palette part of this, but the larger part of the poor d2d canvas issue remains.)
