Steps to reproduce:
the installation of thunderbird-beta has been made impossible. the following message has been systematic for more than a week.

I'm not sure what you're building, but for build issue we'd only support the official source.
We're now at 123, beta i 122.

Mozilla tried to upgrade from ICU 73 to 74, but it got backed out, see bug 1859752. Looks like you'll have trouble building FF/TB 122 and 123 if you don't have ICU 73.

I take it this is the AUR package.
You can remove ac_add_options --with-system-icu from the PKGBUILD file until icu-74 is working.
