Simply clicking on the download link allows the files to be downloaded normally. This behavior was found in other parts of the internet, including files such as pictures. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/468646/ref=m_mh_mn_dd/104-4080552-6281537 2.Select any song that is an Mp3 3.Download it using "Download Link Target" Actual Results: The file downloaded but was surrounded by quotation marks Expected Results: Downloaded the file, but not included quotation marks
Confirmed that Ctrl-Click Download Link Target adds "" around the name in the Save dialog. A simple click on the Download button downloads the file without adding the quotation marks. But the Download manager window shows the illegal html characters (eg: space is %20) coded.
See also bug 186154 comment 2 Not for the bug but for the attachement marked 109760 If you make a Download Link Target on that attachement, the bold name in the Download window will be "attachment.cgi?" and the saved file will be "ECareServlet.html"

This doesn't seem to be a problem any more as of 3/3/04. I suspect this was fixed by jshin's recent SaveHeaderSniffer.mm fixups.
The fix that I suspect fixed this was landed for bug 233798.

Using 2004030308 (v0.7+) Camino nightly build, I did not have any issue with downloading MP3s from the specified site using the Download Link Target. MP3s were downloaded as expected.
