Steps to reproduce:

Open a new e-mail or answer an e-mail. Select delivery status notification / afleverstatusnotificatie in the options menu and send the e-mail.

Internetprovider KPN in The Netherlands.
POP3 system.
'Quoted printable' MIME code for 8 bit coded messages option is turned on. This is needed with KPN.

Actual results:

There comes no delivery status notification / afleverstatusnotificatie message. This has been for several years.

Expected results:

A delivery status notification / afleverstatusnotificatie message.

Many years ago, it was working.

OS: Unspecified → Windows 10

Unless all the email servers / gateways between you and the recipient support the delivery confirmation flag, this functionality will not work. It is mainly designed for a corporate environment where the IT department have complete control over the email infrastructure.
