User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows 2002 Government Server Edition; en-US) Gecko Build Identifier: 2002122808 Composer should be able to compress HTML files. This would be a nice feature in Composer. Compression takes out the line breaks and anything else that isn't necessary. Ideally, this would be an option that comes up in the Save As dialog box, or possibly there would be a "Compress and Save" menu option under "File". This menu option would first compress the file, then bring up the Save dialog box. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Hmmm, I am not sure we want to ever run into that. There are several utilities available to do that, and you can even make yourself in perl in two lines of code. From my perspective, this is a WONTFIX. Kathy, what do you think ?
Glazman, I think this would be a useful feature in Composer, and most people *don't* have perl. I don't. If I was using perl, I wouldn't have filed this bug. I'm sure we could just do away with Mozilla and replace it with 3 lines of perl. You seem apprehensive about adding a feature such as this one? Why?
I'm ok with WONTFIX but it's an ok feature request too. Please, let's not call this "compress" (since to me that means something like "zip")
