User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:122.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/122.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to Preferences > Privacy and Security
- Attempt to find the Autofill section
I also went into about:config and verified that all toggles related to creditCards were turned on correctly, such as extensions.formautofill.creditCards.enabled
Actual results:
The Autofill section did not show, and credit cards cannot be viewed.
Expected results:
The section should show up, and credit cards should be editable.

Hi there, it's possible your Firefox is using a locale where credit card autofill is not enabled by default yet. Could you check that the value of extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supported is on?

Hi, extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supported is set to detect and I live in the UK (a locale where CC Autofill is supported) and it used to work before, it's only started playing up recently.
I also checked extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries and GB is definitely in there.

As a diagnostic measure, can you go to about:config and set extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supported to on, restart the browser, and see if that causes the section to appear? If so, then this might point to a bug in our region detecting mechanism.
Another useful piece of information would be the contents of about:support - if you visit about:support, and click "Copy text to clipboard", and paste that text here, that could be helpful in narrowing this down too.

Moving to Toolkit :: Form Autofill, because while the UI for these settings is within about:preferences, the logic for showing and constructing it is firmly within the FormAutofill module.

Thanks, Charlotte. Indeed, there seems to be an issue with the region you've been assigned. Despite being in GB, your about:support indicates that "browser.search.region": "NL",.
Did you travel to the Netherlands recently? If so, it's possible that Firefox hasn't yet determined that you're back in GB.
