Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:123.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/123.0

Steps to reproduce:

used mozregression to test all nightlys until found the version which brokes audio at jitsi. (Windows & Linux)
Go to https://jitsi.fuck-the.systems/Firefoxnightlydebug
Join session,
Select Input and Output Device

Actual results:

Input device don't send audio to jitsi session.
Output device don't send audio to headphones.

Expected results:

Working audio.

The problem is since (Windows & Linux) 2023-12-20 build 58a9c7e8
https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=061eb9e9ebe5619a6e550d9026f972d199e567dd&tochange=58a9c7e82a58e7e951a669f0634901963c5ed696.

First notice this problem during the 37c3 Congress on a other jitsi session.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::WebRTC: Audio/Video' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → WebRTC: Audio/Video
Product: Firefox → Core

We've tested in normal Jitsi and everything is working. Additionally the use of foul language in test case url makes this unactionable by the team. Maybe you can come up with a better example?

Thanks.

Severity: -- → S3

Looks like one of the latest nightly build fixed this issue again.
