Steps to reproduce:
This happens on a lot of songs on Apple music. I would say more than half. But it's easy to reproduce on the following examples:
https://music.apple.com/us/album/get-him-back/1694386825?i=1694386841
(direct media linkhttps://audio-ssl.itunes.apple.com/itunes-assets/AudioPreview126/v4/ab/2b/d7/ab2bd763-9c7f-5006-66b4-3016649252c8/mzaf_7794205707309621461.plus.aac.ep.m4a

(direct media linkhttps://audio-ssl.itunes.apple.com/itunes-assets/AudioPreview112/v4/d7/d5/75/d7d575bb-e489-3752-c6bb-8b4f86bd36e1/mzaf_871213106325705468.plus.aac.ep.m4a
)
While not logged in to Apple music, click the play icon on the album art thumbnail to the left of the track name to listen to the song preview.
Actual results:
The song preview audio played at normal volume for 1 second and then got quieter for the rest of the length of the preview.
Expected results:
The audio should not have gotten quieter. This behavior doesn't happen in Chromium browsers.

:liamre, if you think that's a regression, could you try to find a regression range using for example mozregression?

Can confirm this bug. Repros on a build from Jan2021, so not a new regression.

I'm clearly one of the right people, thanks for flagging me.
I can't reproduce on Linux or Windows 11 though (I unfortunately don't have a Windows 10 machine around). Can someone that can reproduce get logs using the procedure shown in https://paul.cx/public/about-logging-presentation.webm, and upload the profile and paste the link here, or send privately to padenot@mozilla.com ?
Thanks!

Assigning alwu because he's blocked NI and I want him to know about this bug.

Thanks for taking a look! Here's my profile, hope it's helpful.
By the way, I noticed that skipping around in the audio (by clicking on the seek bar) also triggers the behavior, so I did that multiple times in this profile. https://share.firefox.dev/3ub7QyP (using example number 2)

Can no longer repro. Is it fixed for you as well?

It is fixed for me too.
I tried to do a bisection to find what fixed this, but the builds from comment 2 did not repro the bug today.

Let's close that, it's probable that it was a bug of the website, but please don't hesitate to open a new bug if anything strange happens, thanks for filing in the first place.
