Details

Steps to reproduce:

Using threaded messages

Actual results:

When I receive replies they are duplicated under the thread. The duplicate will go away if I switch folders and come back. If I delete the thread a blank message remains until I switch folders.

Expected results:

No duplicate

Did 115 work better?

I have been experiencing this for quite a while, I'm just getting around to reporting it. As well as I can recall this has been an issue since I went onto 115.

Same here, seems to have started with 115. Fedora 39, currently 115.7.0.

David, dimitris, do you still see this with version 115.9 or newer?

Yes, I am currently on 125.0b5 (64-bit) and I continue to see this.

This doesn't seem to happen any more. I'm on the Fedora build of 115.9.0 (115.9.0-1.fc39).

My inbox, which hasn't changed between when I commented here and now, is a Saved Search folder which includes the GMail Inbox and Sent Mail folders.

Yes, I am currently on 125.0b5 (64-bit) and I continue to see this.

Do you see this only in a unified folder or elsewhere as well? What kind of single folders does that unified folder cover? I assume Gmail accounts are involved?

Flags: needinfo?(djonzsr)

Only in unified folders. Yes, I do have a Gmail account and also an IMAP account for our corporate server.
