User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021229 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021229 Since upgrading to Moz 1.2.1 some days back, each time when I go to read down the main page on debka.com the browser simply crashes - disappears from the desktop. Not sure what they have in the page that's doing it. Just experimented to see if proxying through privoxy would stop it from happening - didn't. Not that I really need to read debka.com (a suspicious site in more ways than one), but it's been happening on a few others too, although this is where it's absolutely repeatable. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to debka.com 2. Scroll down using v at bottom of bar through several screens' worth 3. Profit (by having paranoid conjecture removed from eyeballs) It happens in normal, modern and pinball themes, if that means anything.
worksforme with linux trunk 20030101 and 1.2.1. are you using a talkback build? if so, send in the talkback report when it crashes, and then mention the talkback ID here.
Severity: normal → critical
Not a talkback build. A Gentoo build (from source that is, using Gentoo's defaults for a Pentium Pro).
Started happening to me too in debka.co.il, weird... it didn't happen before and I visit it twice a day at least.
Reporter: Can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of Mozilla (for example, 1.4rc3)? If so, then please comment again with details. If not, then please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks.
WORKSFORME no response from reporter - Reporter, if you see this problem in a recent build of Mozilla, feel free to return and reopen the bug. RESOLVING WORKSFORME
Actually marking it worksforme as stated by two commenters. /me wonders if there's a war for the hearts and minds of mozilla bug readers going on. This bug's site is pro-Jewish & pro-Israel, the last Browser-General bug's site I looked at was Pro-Islam & antisemitic. Fanatics are so tiresome.
