User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 This problem exists if the cache is not cleared. The browser does not automatically detect the new data and does not update the cache. I must have cache settings at "Every time I view the page" instead of the default "When the page is out of date" to be able to see the new data set. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
any proxy servers that might be the cause of your conflict? Do the pages appear updated in IE over several days?
In IE, the similar settings found under Temporary Internet files is set for "Automatically" and the problem that Mozilla has with the displayed scores is not an issue. There are no proxies setup, only the local cache. I know that within IE, you can press Shift-Reload and the page automatically refreshes (not reading from cache). Do Mozilla have a similar function? I have already tried Shift-Reload but the problem still exists.
i guess it's CTRL-reload
worksforme moz 2003031408/win98 reporter (Kelly Nair), right click on the score board, select "This Frame" and then "Show only this frame". Does the board updates itself every 6 sec ?
Reporter: Can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of Mozilla (for example, 1.4rc3)? If so, then please comment again with details. If not, then please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks.
It appears that the newer version of Mozilla did the trick.
