This bug report is not helpful. You need to detail what is not being smooth and what you expect. There doesn't appear to be any yank or obvious pausing, so you need to be explicit.
I've seen various bug reports of yours saying "to be determined". You should at least be describing what you don't like, and roughly what you expect to see, even if it isn't what we end up implementing.

People don't want to wait. "splashscreens" were a distraction from how long it took to start a program. "too quick" is good.
This is not an "Onboarding" problem. Please read the component descriptions carefully before choosing one, and if it doesn't fit please use "General".
In this case too quick is jarring
I filed it in the same component as the one that implemented it.
