187592 - selecting preferences in IRC-Chat does not bring up any changeable settings

when selecting "preferences" in "edit" the irc-chat window, i'm coming right to
the browser preferences, but actually there is no setting for the irc window.
maybe there is somewhere, but i didn't find any settings for irc.

in general irc should be more customizeable, for example
-change the fonts used
-change the behaviour how emoticons are displayed
-make text copyable from within the irc window with strg+c

in this state the irc-chat is not ussable for me, as i need to copy out
information from the window for example, which was not working for me.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open irc-chat
2. go on "edit"
3. click preferences and see for yourself

Actual Results:  
i'm getting to the wrong settings, there are no settings for irc...

Expected Results:  
there should be a customizeable settings-dialog for changing the behaviour of
the irc-chat window. suggestions are described above.
