When I try to download any file from sourceforge.net, e.g. from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gaim/gaim-0.60-alpha4.exe?download and click
to download from any mirror (e.g.
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gaim/gaim-0.60-alpha4.exe?use_mirror=cesnet),
Mozilla stops responding.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open page
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gaim/gaim-0.60-alpha4.exe?download (this
could be any file from sourceforge.net)
2. Click on the link to the file from any mirror (e.g.
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gaim/gaim-0.60-alpha4.exe?use_mirror=unc)
Actual Results:  
During the page is loading, browser stops responding.

Expected Results:  
The page should be fully loaded, and start downloading.

I can not re-produce this using build 1.3a. Have you tried using a nightly
build? A newer build? or just re-installing your build?

Reporter:

If you quit/kill mozilla (and Quickstart, if running) - and then delete the file
XUL.mfl in your profile directory: Does the hang still occur?

(XUL.mfl is a chrome cache and will be rebuilt after startup if missing)

After deleting XUL.mfl the hang doesn't occur anymore. Thanks for help.
