Steps to reproduce:

  • on my pc running windows10 (device1) I had enabled sync
  • on device1 I set a theme of my choice and then I synced
  • on a different pc running windows10 (device2) I have enabled sync with same account used on device1

Actual results:

-after sync on device 2 is completed the theme on device1 was changed to the default (light theme).
it seems that device2 starts syncing and propagates to device1 the default theme.
it should be the opposite: on the new device2 I want to see the theme I previously selected on device1.

Expected results:

-device1 should keep the theme I had previously chosen

  • and device2 should have been set to use the same theme as device1

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sync' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
