An HTML spec PR was merged to fix a bug with popovers when a beforetoggle event listener opens a popover.

Hello! thank you for submitting this issue unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce the issue using firefox 124.0a1 (2024-02-12) on Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10. Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this issue

2. Does this issue happen in the latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/

Above URL link probably doesn't reflect the result as popover is not enabled. However, running locally with popover enabled, I still see two sub-tests failing.
