Steps to reproduce:

For the last 2-3 months (I think), invitations I receive have not shown date and time information, nor action buttons (accept/decline), nor do they have any attachments. I get only the fact there is an invitation. I've been opening up the e-mail on my phone, opening the ICS attachment, then using that on Thunderbird to save the e-mail as an event (typing in time and date from the phone). I initially thought it was only with Teams, but it's happened with other services too.

Not sure how to find user agent string.

Actual results:

Meeting invitation arrives with no date or time information, no action (accept/decline) buttons/links, and no visible ICS attachment. When viewed using a different client, ICS information is attached.

Expected results:

As previously, Thunderbird should have showed date and time information and offered to let me act on the invitation (choosing which account to answer from and which calendar to use).

Try Help | Troubleshoot mode. Better?

The imip bar may have been hidden ?
As far as I know you must go to the configuration editor to show it again toggling calendar.itip.showImipBar to true.

Yes! Thank you very much! That seems to have solved the problem. I hadn't even know this existed.

Now resolved: set calendar.itip.showImipBar to true.

Thanks, @Merome.

(I'm not sure how to otherwise mark this as resolved. I'll try 'INVALID', but not sure that's correct.)
