User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 It would be nice to be able to change the label assigned to mail messages by clicking at the label in the mail list pane. (Just as you change the "read", "marked", or "junk" flags by clicking at the icon.) BTW: Is there a keyboard shortcut for assigning labels? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click at the label of a message in the message list Actual Results: The message is selected. Expected Results: A popup menu should appear to be able to change the assigned label for this (and other selected) messages.
Yes, you can assign labels via keyboard shortcut, a number -- 0 through 5 to set to a certain label value ( 0=none, 1-5 label values as seen in the menu Message|Label). As for clicking on label column to change/cycle through label value, that was spec'd but not done in previous versions. Not sure we'll do that soon... but there is a bug on it, will find it and dup this.
