Also, if you set gfx.webrender.software to true and restart Firefox, does the performance still appear to be impacted?

It is much slower with gfx.webrender.software.

I can't reproduce anymore (without gfx.webrender.software set to true), maybe it was only reproducible with the live website (I tested a build from February 8).
