Sometimes in a browsing session there is a need to shutdown your browser (or the browser crashes :-| ). It would be nice to have a "back" button that simply returns you to the last visited page, even after you have shut down and restarted the browser.

The feature of "history" is for this (not working yet but you can find a similar one in 4.x version). Mark the bug as invalid.
yes, if it is well implemented this is the obvous solution. Using the history function of IE 4 however is a nightmare as you need to remember the exact URL of the site you want to return to, because the way the sort function of IE explorer works is such that it is impossible to find the last visited site otherwise. I hope and expect :-) that mozilla's history function will be better in this aspect.
