This morning, jcristau noted that project branch nightlies use the same mar-channel-id as mozilla-central. Let's follow-up on that.

I was able to update a windows build from https://treeherder.mozilla.org/jobs?repo=larch&revision=545b8c7a498abda61cc4a6e5f59ebc7ce46dd8fc to https://treeherder.mozilla.org/jobs?repo=larch&revision=9147864d68b582795498f2be5e659848c4325799

Both included the fix for this bug. Indeed I was unable to apply the update from the nightly without this fix. https://treeherder.mozilla.org/jobs?repo=larch&revision=04fecc5d513434579a195d9fdf1bd89c501e558a

However, doing the same on macOS doesn't find any updates.
