E.g: Let the following text be written in bold face, If text sent is: toto Then the text received is: *toto* Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Write some text in a mail body with the message composer. 2. Set it bold. 3. Send the message. 4. Look at the mail received. Actual Results: Stars around bold text. Expected Results: Only bold, no stars around.
This is not a bug :-) With my current CVS based trunk build, I can see this mail with a bold "toto" (without "*") when I choose in mailnews View/Message Body/Original HTML (works also with simple HTML) but in "*" when I choose View/Message Body/Plain Text. I can't remember if this option is available in 1.2.1.
