Steps to reproduce:

TB 115.7.0. Similar bug was reported for version 3, 15 year ago :)

  1. "Mark messages determined to be junk as read" turned OFF
  2. Select any unread message in Inbox
  3. Press "J" / Mark as junk

Actual results:

Message was moved to Junk (correct), but also marked as read (not correct).

Expected results:

It should have been moved without being marked as read.

This is a duplicate of bug 1860444 and will be addressed there.
