User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:122.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/122.0
Steps to reproduce:
Issues like https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1879785#c0 and https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1847237#c0 demonstrate that there is a need for users to be able to decide which preferences shall be synchronized between platforms via their Firefox account.
Actual results:
This is currently impossible outside about:config, rendering the fact that the synchronizer does actually provide the ability rather useless to the vast majority of users.
Expected results:
As https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:GlobalPreferences has been designed, federal checkbox usage presented as a table should provide an easily comprehensible mechanism for users to enable or disable synchronization, and for the developers to communicate (via disabled checkboxes) which preferences cannot and/or should not be controlled in this manner.

I've tried to remove those two and add https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1602182#c0, but merely see "502 Bad Gateway" at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/process_bug.cgi when I do.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Fenix::General' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

However, I don't think this specific bug is ever going to happen. If anything syncing of settings will move away from individual prefs so that we can sync preferences between Desktop, Android and iOS.

markh@mozilla.com, considering we've already the technical framework to provide this granularity, and the implementation technically would be mere correlation of sync preference to existent preference in the GUI, I consider it preferable to endless reasonable discussions about what (not) to synchronize.
