18819 - [CRASH] "edit | preferences" in messenger window crashes

i was starting messenger went through the profile creator for messenger .. i
only wanted to hit news but it made me setup mail anyways .. bug?? anyways back
to the main bug .. after filling in everything i wanted to make sure everything
was setup ok.. so i went to the the edit/prefrences thing and boom .. it crashed
.. 11/13 win32 nightly was used same one as my previous bug reports .. here's
the crash info .. this gkhtml.dll has been crashing like crazy :(

I don't think this bug is related directly to mail.  rcrespo: do you have the
same problem choosing edit|preferences from the browser window?

Update:  I was able to reproduce a crash using the mozilla-win32.zip build dated
1999111309m12 and a scenario that include what was stated in the original
scenario with one addition: clicking on the File menu item (while in the mail
window) after OK'ing the Preference dialog is where I crashed.  The crash was in
the same .dll (gkhtml.dll) reported above.
With this reproduced, I then ran the same test on the mozilla-win32.zip build
from today (1999113012m12) and I did not crash.   Based on this, I will verify
this bug, if the reporter is still seeing the crash please give us date that
shows up at the bottom of the browser page too.  Thanks.  Verified
