Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:123.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/123.0

Steps to reproduce:

Re-install of existing Google Mail Account - which works properly in browser Chrome.
Password & address/name login are correct.

Actual results:

I end up in a loop of 2-way-authentication. I entered the correct cellphone number in the first place, I get the SMS Code which is accepted, only to offer me another authentication windows login, followed by a previously stored (old) wrong cellphone number in order to send another SMS-Code, which I cannot get. This is extremely annoying - hilarious.

Expected results:

A clean install as usual with any existing account.

Sounds like a bug you should report to Google. Thunderbird can't affect which phone number it's showing you to do that.
