This is possibly two bugs.
First, the pages displayed in Print Preview rarely correspond to the actual
printed output. Pagination is usually about 20% too high.
Second, see following attachment.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Note that this is supposedly the very top of page 1. Also note the overlaid
gray box (probably visiting from the friendly neighborhood gray box bug).
The actual printout was complete and looked fine.
Print Preview has long been mostly useless and nonfunctional, at least under Mac
OS X. As you're aware, bug 129398 suggests removing this feature from Fizzilla
builds entirely.
If you'd like, you can make this bug specifically about the pagination. I'm not
sure what you mean by that, though. Can you explain it more?
(The grey box looks like bug 137982 to me.)
Summary: print preview is incorrect → Print preview pagination is incorrect
I mean that (for example) print preview will show me 5 pages with breaks in
certain places, but the actual printout is 4 pages with different breaks.
Print Preview should be useful (like the one in MSIE 5 for Mac) or not exist at all.
