On the "Name and Password" panel of the New Messenger Account Wizard, the text "Click next to continue entering information" appears at the lower left of the main pane of the wizard window, obscuring the label for the "Password" text box. The same text appears on every panel (including the last, where it does not belong if this wizard is not immediately follwed by another - can happen if skipped at profile setup time) in the same location. It could potentially go down beside the [Back] and [Next] buttons (there's room) but if not the vertical spacing inside the main pane of this panel needs attention. Attaching screencap taken on WinNT of wizard in 1999-11-12-18-M11 binary.

Bigger dialog perhaps, or, if not that, there is more than enough "white space" above Password Storage in proportion to the tight spacing everywhere else to make room.

Build 2000010509M13: NT4, Linux 6.0, Mac 8.5.1 This appears fixed on all platforms. Paul, do you want to mark it as Worksforme?

It appears that this bug is no longer a problem for the simple reason that the text "Click next to continue entering information" no longer appears on each panel of the wizard. No panel contents are overwritten; there is almost too much extra space at the bottom of each panel using small fonts on WinNT -- although, if the buttons were moved up a bit, it wouldn't be so notable. The [Cancel], [Back], [Next], and [Finish] buttons are all partially cut off at the bottom of the window (as are buttons on the alert dialogs if information is not entered before [Next] is clicked), but that is a separate problem; assuming that it is known -- or has this bug morphed to cover that problem? Otherwise, this looks like a WORKSFORME.

Thank you for your input. Marking Worksforme. The problem with the buttons in the Account Wizard being partially cut-off is logged in bug# 34124. It appears to be a general problem not specific to the Account Wizard.
